Delicious pies, reasonable coffee (I asked for the extra shot to make sure it was strong enough, the other one we ordered was too weak) and you can even drive through if you want. Playground for the kids and lots of seating in the dining area. A local institution in Bathurst it seems.

Great coffee, cakes and bread! You can’t miss this fantastic bakery as you head out of or into town. We stopped for coffee and cake and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were super friendly too, which added to our enjoyment. This bakery is a must visit when in Bathurst.
I bought some cakes, and the service was exceptional. A kind young lady carefully packed them in several boxes for the drive home. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed all the cakes and pastries.

We were in Bathurst for a week and Village Bakehouse catered for our team. The food was excellent, we’ve had a few different caterers over the last few years but theirs has been the best so far. The bread on the hot sandwiches was fresh, the salads were well seasoned and they gave us these beautiful fruit platters with our meals that were just the perfect refreshing finish. All in all the food was great!!
I had a lovely experience here, this lovely girl Laura (with orange hair) was so wonderful and she helped me pick out something to eat as I’m so indecisive ahah. Food tasted amazing she has good taste ;)

And the only one bakery shop I know that has a drive thru, which makes it super convenient! 🚗💨 I’ve been here several times and always love their food. Their salads are fresh and tasty, perfect for a light lunch or quick stop for your long trip. Today I tried their signature beef pie for the first time and wow, it was so good!?!? 🥧✨ The pastry was perfectly flaky, and the filling was rich, flavorful, and comforting. The staff are always friendly, the service is quick, and everything feels cozy and local. Highly recommended for anyone passing through or living nearby. Its a must try bakery!!! 💛
Great place to stop over and have a bit. We had a vegetarian pie and it was delicious. Danish was fantastic. Whole atmosphere snd vibe was great. Highly recommend to stop over for snacks or lunch if you are in the area or driving past Bathurst.
